English version Abstract: This text aims to reflect on the universal desire of sentient beings to achieve contentment, examining what it means to be truly satisfied. From an antinatalist perspective, I discuss how the promise of heaven, in the Christian tradition , relates to the ethics of generating new life, drawing on reflections by Thomas Aquinas on blessedness and morality , and by Schopenhauer on suffering and will , to question whether the hope of eternal happiness alters the ethical evaluation of the creation of new beings.
